Tan Kiat How on 'Say No to Feeding Wildlife'

Stop feeding wild birds to help keep their populations in check. Minister of State for National Development Tan Kiat How made this appeal in Parliament on Tuesday (Mar 2). Speaking in reply to an MP's questions, he said NParks has been working closely with various agencies and community bodies to ensure that food waste is properly managed and to prevent littering and illegal bird-feeding. NParks also has an islandwide “Say No to Feeding Wildlife” campaign to raise awareness on the negative impact of feeding wildlife, including birds.
