Committee of Supply 2021 debate, Day 5: Yip Hon Weng on tapping technology for municipal service delivery

In Parliament on Thursday (Mar 4), MP Yip Hon Weng welcomed efforts by the Municipal Services Office to improve its collection of, and response to, feedback through technology. However, he asked if there were overlaps between its OneService app and its AI-powered chatbot. He also wanted to know how accurate the chatbot was in predicting case categories and owners of feedback, and as a result, whether the public could be assured that feedback would be adequately handled.
