Create co-working and study spaces in housing estates for residents to work and relax. Provide communal spaces for people with disabilities or special needs to be part of the community and live comfortably. Get people from the community with the right skills to help in estate maintenance. Create more wellness areas and open spaces for residents. Remodel the shops in the heartlands to help them stay afloat and relevant. MP Cheryl Chan made these suggestions in Parliament on Thursday (Mar 4) to make housing estates more liveable and vibrant.
