It is vital for the education system to stay "ready, relevant and resilient" amid challenges posed by disruption, digitalisation and the COVID-19 pandemic, said MP Patrick Tay. Speaking in Parliament on Wednesday (Mar 3), he highlighted six "pertinent" issues that must be on the radar of the Ministry of Education. These include strengthening the mental wellness of students and teachers, improving prospects for Mother Tongue Language and specialist teachers, and promoting continuing education and training.
