Committee of Supply 2021 debate, Day 4: Mariam Jaafar on employment for polytechnic, ITE graduates

In Parliament on Wednesday (Mar 3), MP Mariam Jaafar noted how Singapore's education system is evolving, for example with the introduction of subject-based banding in schools and dual majors in universities. She called for similar moves towards novel approaches to be extended to polytechnics and the Institute of Technical Education (ITE). She asked for an update on the employability of polytechnic and ITE graduates, and data on graduates who took on jobs unrelated to their course of study.
