Committee of Supply 2021 debate, Day 4: Hazel Poa on preparing students for innovation-driven economy

Acknowledging that it would take more than just technical skills and scientific knowledge to thrive in an innovation-driven economy, NCMP Hazel Poa in Parliament on Wednesday (Mar 3) asked if there are plans to help students prepare for such an economy. She also asked if KPIs would be introduced to measure outcomes that were ungraded, such as adaptability and critical thinking, and proposed providing financial support for students studying outside mainstream schools.
