Committee of Supply 2021 debate, Day 4: Gerald Giam on foundation, standard level subjects in primary school

Primary school pupils can choose to take a combination of foundation and standard level subjects based on their strengths but many pupils and parents are still unaware of the differences and implications of the different levels. MP Gerald Giam raised this concern in Parliament on Wednesday (Mar 3) and asked how schools determine students' subject level combinations and how parents are helped in understanding the impact of foundation level subjects on PSLE scores.
