Singapore must do more to promote individual and collective responsibility to care for the environment, said NMP Abdul Samad Abdul Wahab in Parliament on Wednesday (Mar 3). He said those with a sound knowledge of environmental issues will not only care for the environment themselves, but be able to encourage others to do the same. Mr Abdul Samad asked how the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment is working with the Ministry of Education to nurture an appreciation for nature and responsible lifestyle habits in students.
