Committee of Supply 2021 debate, Day 3: Seah Kian Peng on building up digital savviness

The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated digital gains but also digital divides, said MP Seah Kian Peng in Parliament on Tuesday (Mar 2). He asked what is being done to improve not just digital access, but digital savvy, among low-income groups. Likening this to being “street smart”, he said it is all the more important with increasing online misinformation and online scams.
