Committee of Supply 2021 debate, Day 3: Saktiandi Supaat on digital connectivity for everyone

As the COVID-19 pandemic forces individuals to be more dependent on the Internet, what new policies will be introduced to narrow the digital divide between people, MP Saktiandi Supaat asked in Parliament on Tuesday (Mar 2). He also asked if there could be tax credits for home-based workers and tax breaks for employers who pay for employees' Internet subscriptions. He urged for more efforts to ensure every household has strong digital connectivity.
