Committee of Supply 2021 debate, Day 3: Hany Soh on libraries staying relevant in a digital world

A progressive society must nurture a love of reading and lifelong learning, said MP Hany Soh. Speaking in Parliament on Tuesday (Mar 2), she wanted to know how the Government is promoting reading in the digital world through easy and affordable access to e-books. She also wanted to know how the Government is ensuring that Singapore's public libraries remain relevant in the digital world and continue to meet the needs of Singaporeans, especially families with young children and senior citizens.
