The COVID-19 pandemic has forced countries to re-examine the resilience of their supply chains, with many vulnerabilities in long supply chains getting unraveled, NTUC Assistant Secretary-General Desmond Choo said in Parliament on Tuesday (Mar 2). He raised the issue of loan moratoriums and COVID-related measures coming to an end for small and medium-sized enterprises and asked if there would be continued support for them.
