Committee of Supply 2021 debate, Day 3: Alex Yam on stronger foothold for Singapore as 'Asia's Silicon Valley'

Singapore must strive to make the most of the digital gains and opportunities worldwide to strengthen its foothold, grow the economy and improve the living standards of its people, said MP Alex Yam. Speaking in Parliament on Tuesday (Mar 2), he wanted to know how the Government is planning to strengthen Singapore's competitive advantage. He also wanted to know how the Government is ensuring that Singapore has enough talent to meet the demands of its growing digital economy so that it can truly become "Asia's Silicon Valley".
