Committee of Supply 2021 debate, Day 2: Zhulkarnain Abdul Rahim on safety and security

Keeping Singapore safe and secure is the duty not only of the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) and Singapore Armed Forces but that of the whole nation, said MP Zhulkarnain Abdul Rahim in Parliament on Monday (Mar 1). He voiced his interest in knowing what Singaporeans had to say about keeping the nation safe and secure in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, and how to strengthen Total Defence and National Service. He also asked how MINDEF was empowering Singaporeans to play an even greater role in Total Defence.
