48:19 Min
Singapore's Foreign Service Officers have built up diplomatic capital over many years and have "drawn down" on this capital in the past one year, said Foreign Affairs Minister Vivian Balakrishnan in Parliament on Monday (Mar 1), as he responded to MPs' questions. He talked about how sustaining international support for trade would help bolster Singapore's economic growth and create jobs for Singaporeans. Dr Balakrishnan also said that Singapore will continue to see imported cases of COVID-19, from time to time, as a complete shutdown is not a viable strategy for the nation.
