Singapore Muslims were unable to perform the Haj and Umrah pilgrimages last year due to COVID-19 travel restrictions, said MP Saktiandi Supaat in Parliament on Monday (Mar 1). He asked how Singapore was working with the Saudi authorities to enable Singaporeans to be able to perform their pilgrimages safely when restrictions are lifted, and when Singapore Muslims would be able to perform their annual pilgrimages. He also asked if people's vaccination status would affect their chances to perform the pilgrimages.
