Committee of Supply 2021 debate, Day 2: Liang Eng Hwa on Singapore-China trade ties

Singapore businesses have internationalised well in the China market, thanks to the multi-faceted relations both countries have built, MP Liang Eng Hwa said in Parliament on Monday (Mar 1). He added that China is a massive and diverse market and it is not possible for Singapore businesses to exist in every part of China. He asked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs how it would shape Singapore-China relations in the new global landscape, and "what would be the new focuses in the area of economic, trade and investment relations".
