Committee of Supply 2021 debate, Day 2: Joan Pereira on COVID-secure SAF training

Servicemen and women may face the risks of COVID-19 transmission in camps and confined spaces, such as tanks and aircraft. MP Joan Pereira, who raised this concern in Parliament on Monday (Mar 1), wanted to know what precautionary measures are in place for COVID-safe training in Singapore and overseas. She also asked how the Defence Ministry would curb a further spread if any personnel contracted COVID-19.
