The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted many of Singapore's established markets and so it is timely to consider greater diversification, said MP Gan Thiam Poh in Parliament on Monday (Mar 1). He cited emerging economies in central and eastern Europe, the Middle East and Latin America that are developing strongly with young populations.
