Committee of Supply 2021 debate, Day 2: Don Wee on Singapore’s relevance in the world

Singapore has been punching above its weight in many areas on the global stage and has established a track record as a fair, reliable and valuable partner. However, it needs to re-strategise amid uncertainty brought on by global geopolitical tensions, MP Don Wee said in Parliament on Monday (Mar 1). He asked what practical measures Singapore has taken to maintain or strengthen its reputation as a constructive and responsible member of the global community.
