Committee of Supply 2021 debate, Day 2: Alex Yam on role of SAF and MINDEF in COVID-19 fight

Seeing the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) trucks roll into the community clubs for the first deliveries of surgical masks many months ago was a "moment of pride", said MP Alex Yam. Speaking in Parliament on Monday (Mar 1), he lauded the SAF for rising to the challenge amid a climate of change and disruption. He asked the Defence Minister to share his plans on how the SAF and Ministry of Defence will continue to contribute to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
