Committee of Supply 2021 debate, Day 1: Saktiandi Supaat on agility and flexibility in rendering assistance

Despite the wide array of Government financial support schemes, some businesses and citizens have had to make appeals or request further support. They were not aware of what supporting information to provide or were found to be narrowly ineligible, said MP Saktiandi Supaat in Parliament on Friday (Feb 26). He asked how agility and flexibility have been exercised to avail assistance to businesses and citizens more quickly during COVID-19 and how personnel are equipped to cope with the increased workload.
