High-profile corruption revelations have come to light over the last few years, but the message is still clear that corruption committed by Singaporeans and Singapore corporate entities is not condoned anywhere in the world, said Leader of the Opposition Pritam Singh in Parliament on Friday (Feb 26). He stressed the need to restate more forcefully the core Singaporean value of a no-nonsense attitude towards corruption in the post-COVID recovery, and called on the Government to amend the Prevention of Corruption Act to raise the penalties for corruption.
