Committee of Supply 2021 debate, Day 1: Desmond Choo on gender equality, companies' Green Plan journey

How companies invest and conduct their businesses is a powerful lever in supporting the Singapore Green Plan 2030. NTUC Assistant Secretary-General Desmond Choo said this in Parliament on Friday (Feb 26) before asking authorities to consider mandating gender diversity and green investment board disclosure for listed companies, and supporting a corporate-led movement similar to the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index.
