Budget 2021 debate: Rahayu Mahzam on support for women

Singapore’s Budget measures in 2020 and 2021 have helped to keep women in work - even in sectors hit hard by COVID-19 like tourism and hospitality - through the Jobs Support Scheme and Jobs Growth Incentive. They are also addressing women’s concerns in taking care of their families, with assistance like the Household Support Package and COVID-19 Recovery Grant. These points were made in Parliament on Thursday (Feb 25) by Parliamentary Secretary for Health Rahayu Mahzam, who is co-leading a comprehensive review of issues affecting women in Singapore.
