Budget 2021 debate: Nadia Ahmad Samdin on inclusive, sustainable and equitable Singapore

Budget 2021 has approached economic recovery in a way that will spur the growth of green industries and provide liquidity for local businesses to sprout and adapt to the future, said MP Nadia Ahmad Samdin. Speaking in Parliament on Wednesday (Feb 24), she highlighted the need to provide employment opportunities for two groups - youths and vulnerable people. For youths, she would like to see longer-term job support to help them join and stay in the workforce. For vulnerable groups, she stressed the need for fair and timely opportunities in the job market.
