Budget 2021 debate: Hany Soh on 'dire need' to make public parks and facilities safe for all users

Choose the suitable types of trees and plants. Plant them away from areas with high human traffic. Have strict maintenance regimes to check the health of trees periodically. MP Hany Soh made these suggestions, as she highlighted the "dire need" to ensure that Singapore's parks and their facilities remain safe for all users. Speaking in Parliament on Thursday (Feb 25), she urged NParks to work with grassroots committees to organise more workshops to raise awareness and share tips on potential hazards in parks and ways to respond to park-related accidents.
