Bata celebrates Star Wars day with this limited-edition shoe collection
May the force be with you – The Star Wars x Bata Heritage collection will only be available in Singapore for three days.
Alert, all Jedi! Grab your lightsabers and these new kicks in celebration of Star Wars Day (that’s May 4, which alludes to the franchise’s iconic phrase ‘may the force be with you’, for all you non-fans) this year. To pay homage to the commemorative date, footwear brand Bata Heritage will be launching a very limited-edition Star Wars capsule collection – available for just three days.
Don’t expect the drab school shoe-styles of your childhood either. For this, Bata’s iconic designs will be transformed. Its popular Bullet high-tops will now feature a light saber at the heel and will be lined with a matching piping so you can pick your side of the force. Its Tennis design (aka the school shoes we all used to wear) have also been revamped and now feature tricoloured graphics of iconic Star Wars characters Darth Vader, R2D2 and the Storm Trooper.
The Star Wars x Bata Heritage SS18 capsule will only be available at a specially curated pop-up store at B4 Ion Orchard from 4 May to 6 May 2018, from 11am to 9pm. Alternatively, you can also shop the collection online at bataheritage.com on the same day of the launch.
